Giants 1st Round Pick

The Giants pick Jason Pierre-Paul with their first round pick. This is actually a very good pick considering the players still available on the board. As they usually do, the Raiders surprised everyone and picked Rolando McClain with the 8th pick. Also gone, and this was expected, was top running back C.J. Spiller who was selected by Buffalo at 9. The Giants won their most recent Super Bowl based on a punishing pass rush. Last year the Giants pass rush was non-existent resulting in a pitiful rank of 30th in NFL defense. Pierre-Paul is an athletic, pure pass rusher and hopefully he can help spark this defense back to where it belongs.
