Bernard Injured in 2009
The New York Daily News is reporting that Giants defensive tackle, Rocky Bernard, played all of last season with a partially torn rotator cuff in his shoulder. This painful injury was the cause, according to Bernard, of his lackluster season where he had only 1 sack and 22 tackles. A few weeks after the end of last season, Bernard underwent surgery to repair his rotator cuff. Bernard claims to be at 100% and is ready to live up to expectations.
